**NEW COURSE**

This in person course offers an overview of mold remediation activities and is intended for individuals who are currently involved in or expected to carry out remediation tasks. Course activities include:

• Identifying common fungi associated with water damage
• Understanding health hazards related to mold
• Learning methods to prevent water events and mold growth in buildings
• Developing emergency response plans
• Using personal protective equipment
• Implementing control measures for containment or confinement in the event of water damage

All course materials are provided. Continuing education credits are available from the University of Minnesota and other affiliated organizations. Group discounts available – email hazmat@umn.edu for more information.
